Built for Loose Powder, Not Just Cosmetics

A cream jar only has to keep air out; a powder jar also has to control how the product leaves the container:

  • Dispensing fitment

    A sifter disc, rotating shaker top, or fine-mesh insert is matched to the formula. Loose face powder needs a different hole pattern from dry shampoo or talc.

  • Liner and seal

    PE film, EPE foam, or PP-lined pads sit between the rim and lid. Thickness and material are matched to the jar and filling process.

  • Powder behavior

    Talc and starch-based powders sift freely with a standard pad, while mica-heavy mineral powders can pick up humidity and compact. Flag the base powder so the liner and insert are matched to it, not just the jar.

MOQ, Tooling & Lead Times

There is no fixed MOQ. Quantity is confirmed once the tin, decoration, and sample route are reviewed against your order size.

A custom sifter hole pattern needs its own tooling, quoted after DOLYPACK reviews the pattern and jar. Specifying an existing sifter insert already on file skips that step. Sample and production timing follow the same review, so no generic lead time applies until the drawing and artwork are confirmed.

The relevant range for powder formats is the small-to-mid portion of DOLYPACK's 5 ml–6,000 ml aluminum catalog, with cap diameters between Ø17.5 mm and 89 mm. Smaller diameters suit a fine sifter disc, while larger ones suit a shaker top for body powder.
